I know you get what you pay for, but I'm baffled by the good reviews for this piece of junk. I've owned mine for two years, and all I can say is:
-- Images everywhere up and down every band including FM. I hear the same FM station in three places in a 200 mHz span.
-- Drift is amazingly bad and constant adjustment of the tuning is required, even on strong stations. Listening to a baseball game on even the strongest AM stations is a chore.
-- Shortwave is awful: If you want to hear the strongest shortwave broadcasters on U.S. soil splattering up and down most of the bands, buy one of these.
