I've used this baby for both my point & shoot still camera, and my SD card video camera. It works great for both!
The tri-pod is small enough to fit in your pocket (if you have big pockets...like in a coat) or in your purse.
I've used it many times, and the legs still bend easily and hold their position firmly. You can even use it to hang the camera upside down (from a tree limb or something like that) if you can't find anything else to attach it too!
All in all, a very handle little device for the average amateur photographer.
