This is made of the cheapest materials you could possibly imagine. The speaker cables are SUPER thin and fragile, and even the AC cord and plug is so thin and small that it makes you wonder if it is a fire hazard or not. The streeo seperation is good, and the sound is ok, unless you like bass, then you will probably be disappointed. I have an older RCA boombox that just blows this away as far as bass response goes. Actually, the RCA with the bass-boost feature turned off still sounds fuller that this with the bass-boost feature turned on (it's just too bad that the RCA does not track CD's worth a ****). You can't really tell much of a difference when you even turn the bass-boost on here. Also, maybe I have not figured it out yet, because I just got it, but there doesn't appear to be any way to see how many minutes or seconds into a song you are. But the clincher, and the reason I have to send it back is that one of the speakers cuts out, and only comes back on when I tap on the top of it. It's not the connection either. It doesn't seem like this was built to last at all. I personally think it would be better to spend about $100.00 and get a better portable unit. Remember, you only get what you pay for (if your lucky that is).
