Customer Review: Excellent replacement for iPod headphones
Summary: 4 Stars

I'll give you the bottom line first: For $10, these are fantastic headphones. I'm ordering a second set now. I've used plenty of cheap (and expensive) headphones in the past and these certainly don't seem like cheap headphones.

More detail:
They are VERY comfortable. Much more comfortable than my original iPod headphones. They sound very clear and crisp at low and high volumes.

Here's my impression while listening to several types of music on an iPod Touch:
Hard Rock / Metal: Lacking just a bit of bass, but overall very good.
Acoustic / Classical: VERY crisp and clean sounds
Classic Rock: Perfect!
Pop: Excellent. Oddly enough, the bass is better in some of these songs that in Rock / Metal. It could just be the songs that I was listening too.
TV Shows / Movies: Excellent

The noise reduction is surprisingly good. Even at low volumes I can't hear fairly loud background noise unless I really listen for it closely.

Just buy them. You won't be disappointed.

Customer Review: Wasn't what I expected
Summary: 3 Stars

Well, when I first bought these headphones I thought that they would last a good amount of time. I use my headphones everyday so I tend to run through them quick. So when they lasted for more than 3 weeks I was very pleased. But soon after that I noticed that there was something wrong with the jack end of the headphones. If I turned it in any other position the music would stop playing entirely in one ear. So I tried to keep them still for a while, but that only lasted about a month before it completely went out in that one ear. And I can tell that it's not a problem with the ear part of the headphone, but the jack end. I tried everything to get it to keep working, but eventually I gave up. I have to say, they did last a good amount of time for what I payed for them, but I was still slightly disappointed. I doubt that I am going to buy JBuds again. I ordered a pair of headphones from a different brand that are working for me much better than these did. And I take very good care of all my headphones. It wasn't because of abuse to the headphone.

Customer Review: Absolutely PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Summary: 5 Stars

First off, I would like to congratulate JLab audio for realizing their goal of providing world-class customer care. I am certainly enticed to purchase further products from this company.

In the beginning, I was just looking for a pair of cheap earbuds for on the go. Found this set, but after a few weeks of use, my pair was defective like many others and I forgot about it. A few months later, I was just browsing this page to see how frequently this occurs. Turns out, many people have this defect and have gotten replacements.

So I decided to give it a try and send JLab audio an email. I was promptly replied with an automatic email within 10 minutes of sending. After less than 24 hours, I was given a reply. With no arguing or any of that annoying stuff, I got a replacement set.

Time spent to get a replacement: <3 minutes (haha, if you get it)

100/100 for the great price and customer support.

Even better, the replacements come with a one year warranty :D

Customer Review: Disappointing Sound
Summary: 2 Stars

I guess I am in minority here, but I don't like the sound of my new JBuds. I didn't expect Hi-Fi quality for $19.99, but I did expect better sound than my stock iPod ear buds. Maybe I have just gotten too used to my the headphones that came with my iPod, maybe I just got a bad pair of JBuds, I don't know. I do know that the treble response of the JBuds is not as good as the my stock iPod headphones. The JBuds sound dull in comparison. The JBuds do block some ambient noise by sealing the ear canal which is a plus. There is also minimal sound transferred to the headphones (and your ears) when the headphone cord rubs against something, another plus. I will likely use them to listen to podcasts or when I am using the computer, but not for listening to music. Also, because they fit in the ear, you will be cleaning ear wax off them. Let's just say that no one is going to want to borrow them from you. Also, constuction is cheap. The quality of contruction is what I would expect for a price of $5.99.

Customer Review: Don't think you're getting a bargain
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought these to replace my worn-out Sony MDR-EX71SL Fontopia In-The-Ear Headphones (Black) and stupidly, thought I would save a few bucks by buying the Jlab earbuds this time around. I had become quite attached to the in-ear design, having discovered that it gives vastly superior sound quality and outside-sound blocking above the old style of standard earphone designs. I thought, well, these are in-ear headphones, they surely give similar quality sound, right? Wrong. After trying them out for a day, I got curious and plugged in my old Sonys (ragged but still functioning) and the difference was dramatic. The Sonys gave crisp highs and booming bass, and clear sound. The Jlabs, by comparison, was like listening to music underwater. So take it from me, spend the extra $10 or $20 and get yourself some Sonys or equivalent mid-price range headphones.
