This is my second JBL iPod docking station. I also have the larger version, which has better sound, but also costs more. I use the smaller one on my desk at work and it is perfect. Picked it up in the Gold Box deals for 49.99 and couldn't be happier. It's a perfect little bedroom speaker, ideal for listening to background music. The ability to run on batteries is a bonus I haven't attempted to use yet, but I'll probably be glad I have it some day.Customer Review: Great

Great sound for such a compact speaker system. Easy to set up, and easy to transport from one location to another. An amazingly good product with great sound, especially considering its small size and tiny speakers. It is a good buy, but only available in red at that price! I would have preferred a more subdued color.
