I bought this speaker with the intent to use in my living room and bedroom to FINALLY move from the CD player to the oh so modern ipod :-)
I am impressed by the sound quality and the volume on it. It is a simple product, with clean lines and I love the punchy red of the dock I chose.
A good purchase if you're looking for something small to place on a table or nightstand that carries great sound.

I bought my JBL On Stage Micro Portable iPod Speaker & Docking Station, in red, for $49.99. I am extremely pleased with everything about this player. Great sound, operates on AC or DC, and even has a remote!! The fun shape & red color are just additional reasons to like this player. If it wasn't already so portable, I'd buy one for every room!Customer Review: why??????

i just recieve them and im really, really sad...
the volume really sucks and you have to turn off the equalizer of your ipod if not the sound is terrible... distorsion is the correct word.
the price should be of 25 no kiddin
i feel sorry for the guys who spend 100 bucks for this ...
dont lose your time and money.

The sound is a little light or tinny. But for the size that is to be expected. I use it in my office area and it is adequate for that. I wouldn't buy at full price, but at $50 I found it sufficient. My son bought me my ipod for Christmas and I love it, and so I can enjoy my music even more he got me the speaker dock for Mother's Day. It has good quality sound and the little case makes it easy for me to take it with me on my trips, I am a flight attendant. I would recommend this product.
