Im very intrasted in useing solar and hoped that this charger would be a good way to get started. I got this little light weight pannel and let it charge in my window (facing the South) for less then a day and it was enough to charge my cell phone.
I have not tested it on my iPod or player (which looks like it might be compatable)but so far so good. I intened to use solar now to power as much as I can.

Left it in car facing the sun for a total of about 24hrs but couldn't get it to charge anything. Under direct sunlight its green light turned on but still no measurable voltage was put out. It might have been defective. This seems to be made for a Asian market judging by the box and the poorly translated instructions were very unclear.Customer Review: Not at all what I expected

Based on the description, I expected much more from this product. It's very small (which some may find an advantage) and does not look very durable. I purchased 2 - one for me and one to give as a gift. I am hoping to return both for a full refund. Very disappointed.Customer Review: Useless.

The only thing this is useful for is a paperweight. It holds virtually no charge. I can set this in direct sunlight all day, and get at most 10 minutes of charge time for my iPhone, if I'm lucky. Save your money.Customer Review: Disappointed...

I sit it in the sun for 10 hours and it charges my blackberry for about 15 minutes. The battery meter didn't register any change. It won't charge my Ipod Touch.
