Customer Review: Expected more and got an overheated product

I will not buy another IOmega ever again. I wanted this to be kept on my computer for anytime backup -- I don't like to plug and unplug all the time. I have worked with and do own several different portables, from handheld size to the size of "My book" and none, and I repeat NONE have ever gotten hot to the touch. This is a very high concern -- you never know it could cause a fire, or shortout from the heat... I have a Maxtor that I have plugged in all the time, only unplugging when I have to go and work on another computer and it has never gotten HOT... So anyone that says all handheld portable hard drives get hot, I have to say is NOT true.
IOmega I really thought for the price that you charge your product would have a much better standings. Also, don't even try to get tech support, they give you the run around and after you have gone around in circle until you are dizzle, you are finally told, "sorry it must be Operator error" WELL I NEVER!! I may be a woman, but I know my computers and their components. So don't even give me the "operator error" statement, because now you have the "Blue Screen of Death" for I will never buy another one of your products. Just completely poor support and rude too!
I don't care what the price is, nothing is cheap enough to have to be so demeanored!!!
