Customer Review: Excellent for the price!

I bought these for $2.03 + $2.98 S&H so I'm pretty satisfied with the product. I honestly did not expect it to be as good as it is. However, I did expect them to be white. Mine were black, but that's fine.
As long as the volume is NOT on max for both the iPod and speaker, the sound is totally acceptable. However, when you max out the volume on both, it's pretty staticky, like a radio with bad reception. Mine just came today, so I don't know about the durability of the product, but for $2, I'm not too concerned about it. As long as it doesn't break after less than a few months of use, in which case I will update this review.

This is a nice compact set of speakers that has great sound quality. I absolutely love it and is worth every penny I paid for it. As you see below my only two dislikes are: it does not charge the Ipod, so I have to make sure its charged when I use the batteries or ac adapter, and it did not come with an ac adapter.

There is a USB power cord that I pluged into the back of my keyboard and it works great. This is the first time anything has actually worked when I pluged it into the USB port on the keyboard. The wire for the little MP3 plug wraps around the battery cover real nice. I thought that was neat also. We have a very small player that does clip on ok, but the shelf could be designed a bit better to accommodate the clip on units. They sound ok, there is not much base but I guess you know that when you buy them. Another trick is that the speakers have a metal cover, so when you touch them they vibrate. I really appreciate other people taking time to review items - Thank you so much! It helped me to set expectations for my purchase. That being said, this is exactly as promised, in fact I was impressed that I could get the volume louder than I thought I would be able to.
There are nothing in the way of directions, and so you've just got to figure it out - not too hard! And they are cheaply made, which is not unexpected given the price - so don't expect them to be hearty - but if you are going to keep them say in one place and not travel with them, I think they are perfect.

I purchased these speakers to use in my massage therapy practice. I do corporate chair massage at companies and, while the sound is nothing like the bose speakers I use at my therapy office, they do play enough of a quality sound to create the relaxing ambiance needed to make my clients forget they are at work. Every now and then my 14 year old son hooks his ipod to them and plays his upbeat music, and they are good enough to entertain our family with music and laughter. The price I paid for them was well worth it, and I got better sound than I expected. They play a long time on the AAA batteries too.
