Customer Review: Great For In The Car!

These speakers are fantastic! I got them when the radio in my car expired. I have no trouble hearing my music while these speakers are riding in the passengers' seat. They WILL work with any MP3 players designed to be used with headphones, which would be all of them I think. I also bought a 3 piece set for powering your iPod so I could steal the USB to car charger part to power the speakers. I have not tried these speakers with batteries in them. My only complaint, and this is a really small one, is that sometimes what it 'amplifies' is not the part of the music you want to hear. It tends to amplify the reverberations often heard while a guitar is playing instead of the actual notes played, for example. I think that is called feedback and it is not a pleasant sound. Still, this is a very small 'problem'. The price on this is great. They have so far survived 4 months of living solely in my car with all the temperature changes and getting sent flying because I had to slam on the brakes that entails. Even if they expire tomorrow, I will have gotten my money's worth and will have no qualms replacing them with the exact same product.Customer Review: Nice Compact Speakers

These speakers are indeed small and sound good for the average person. The price is excellent.
I thought they would be a little louder, but they are small and quite nice, especially for the price.
Drawback I see is that I have an iPod Touch 2nd gen. and the speaker outlet is at the bottom of the iPod. Therefore you have to stand the iPod upside down for it to sit in the speakers correctly. I did see a picture where the iPod Touch was turned sideways and placed on the speakers, and this would be great except that there is nothing holding the iPod on and slight bump will make it fall off in this configuration.
Overall we are extremely happy with these little guys and the price can't be beat. The aren't BOSE(R) quality, but to have a pair of speakers that you can actually hear is great.
Also, it comes with a USB power cable so if you have a Apple or other wall charger adapter, it'll work with these speakers and you don't have to go out and buy another power source for it. My wife absolutely loves them because they are small enough to take and put in any room of the house.

I've owned these speakers for over a month now. Shipping costs made them more expensive than they seemed. Be sure to take that into account when deciding if they're worth the cost.
I bought these to listen to podcasts in my car since it doesn't have a tape deck and I have not had any luck with FM transmitters. The speakers are somewhat quiet for this purpose. I have to turn them up all the way and the iPod volume up almost all the way to hear well enough over normal car noise. When they're up this loud the sound quality suffers, especially the higher frequencies. At lower sound levels, in a quiet area, they sound OK.
I also discovered that the sound quality gets very bad as the batteries weaken. Sound quality had gotten so bad I was ready to throw the speakers away until I decided to try fresh batteries. (I didn't realize the problem was batteries because the volume didn't seem to drop.) The new batteries restored quality to its original mediocre level. For me, the batteries last 15-20 hours of play time.

I purchase a $4 set of speakers for my daughter's ipod before Christmas. I was asked to give a product review, which I did. I gave the product 3 out of 5 stars because the sound quality wasn't that great, but I also stated in the review that they worked fine for my 13 year old daughter and that they arrived fast! I received an email from the seller "Candy Huang" asking me why I gave a bad review and why I hadn't contacted them earlier. I replied that it was "no big deal" and that I didn't want to return the speakers. I was harassed with a series of emails asking me to remove the feedback in exchange for a $2 credit. After the 3rd email, I gave in and just removed the feedback so she would stop bothering me. Did I get a credit???? NO! I don't care about a $2 credit folks...but what a horrible way to conduct business! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! And if you do, beware of leaving negative feedback! I'm sure I will be harassed by them again for leaving this review, but I just wanted to warn others. Thanks for reading.Customer Review: 5 bucks! Anything is worth trying for 5 bucks!

The sound becomes slightly garbled at the higher volumes particularly with Electronica and Metal the low decibel's all mesh into one. NIN, Zero 7 , and certain Dream Theater songs were hard to listen to because the whole unit would just vibrate when trying to reproduce the lows. Still not bad for 1.5" speakers.
This is exactly what I was looking for! I needed a small ipod speaker system for my VERY crowded work area. This fit the bill perfectly. The sound is decent especially at low volumes. Being a work environment I just needed to hear it and jamming out was not a requirement. That said these do get pretty loud.
I do not place my ipod in the holder. I leave it on the table so I can plug in my CTA Digital IP-TBC Rapid Travel Charger ($8.00 on amazon) into it so my pod has constant juice.
I have had no problems with the batteries in this unit as mentioned in other reviews.
Hey, It was just under 5 bucks. Is this worth 5 bucks? HECK YA! It beats listening to commercial's all day
