There was a lot of hype and positive reviews on this, so I thought, "What the hell, it's 3 bucks".
They really weren't good. There's a lot of static or interference that can only be drowned out when the speakers are on max volume. Even then you can still hear the static in the background.
Very very cheaply made. The speakers are like silver-spray-painted cardboard, the plastic is pretty weak.
It's easy enough to use though, very simple. I guess that's the plus.
I guess it's what you can expect for $3-$5, but honestly it isn't worth even that.

Are you kidding me?! best $6 I've spent in a while. I used this for a 4000 mile train trip (sleeper car). many many hours of use over numerous days, 1 set of batteries (I even forget and left it on for a few hours). Sound is great on all types of music and volume ranges (I mean, come on, they're small speakers. If you are trying to use these for your backyard BBQ, you're an idiot). Only concern: the On/Off switch was a little askew, and the On light was insanely bright (nothing a little duct tape didn't fix). Digilife Fold-Up Compact Speakers for Apple iPod (Travel Size), White
The design is wonderful and the price is outstanding. The only problem is that you can barely hear thru them even at maximum volume. It seems like a mismatch in impedance maybe. I really wish they did work well.
This was on an Apple IPod Nano. It is possible the speakers were not designed for this model. If so, that should be stated in the product information.

Excellent portable speakers! I have them set up in the kitchen and bathroom. Mostly used with my iphone, but I've also used them with my laptop and mp3 player. If you're looking for a set of portable, lightweight speakers, this is definitely a great choice! Of course, the $2.00 price tag makes it that much better!
They are powered by 4-AAA batteries so you don't have to worry about power cords. (There is a port for AC power if you prefer, but the cord is not included) I'd also recommend purchasing a few sets to have in different rooms.

These speakers have been discounted to almost free. For the price you get a small package that folds out into a speaker set with a tray to place your mp3 player. You can power the speakers from a USB port, batteries, or power supply (power supply not included). The sound quality is pretty good for tiny speakers. The USB cable and 3.5mm plug are both on the short side, meaning that you'll need them close to the computer or mp3 player. I bought 2 sets. One for using with my mp3 player and another to use with computers. I am very happy with my purchase.
