Ordered 2 items...Ideastream CD Storage Boxes and Fellows CD Sleeves. which is obviously 2 different manufacturers. When ordering, I clicked on a combination option to order both. Needed 10 of each...the "10" only tranferred to 1 item, not both. Was not noticed until transaction completed and received a verification. Called customer service and found out there were two "customer Services" to deal with. Could not change the order even though it was less than 5 minutes when I first called. Customer Service is obviouly not in the US...had a communication problem and could not get a "supervisor" as no one was available for 2 hours. ended up paying for 2 freight charges because we had to place a 2nd order to get the quantity needed. Could not get any help...will look elsewhere before we place another order of that type.
Items were exactly what was needed. Amazon Customer Service was non-existant.

First of all, the image is not representative because the snaps are in the inside of the box, not the outside as depicted. And there are not two snaps on each edge, but only one--thus 4 snaps for the entire box.
After visiting the IdeaStream website and viewing their Snap-n-Store products, it is clear that these are either counterfeit or an outdated or discontinued model since their models are all like the image and not like the items received.
Second, 3 out of the 5 boxes I ordered were DEFECTIVE. Two of them snapped together with little or no effort. The other 3 do not snap despite herculean efforts mostly because they do not line up at all. On one of the 3 defective boxes, the only one end that snaps together is left with an opening which is almost a half-inch narrower than the width of a CD, thus impossible to use for CD storage as purposed since it is incorrectly cut.

The GREAT thing is that the boxes arrived extremely quickly, so if you need them right away, don't worry! The GOOD thing is that they are very sturdy and a very attractive. The NOT SO GOOD thing is that I ordered five and only four were cut to the right size for CD's. The last one was smaller (not as wide) and I couldn't fit CD's in the same way. I saw the same boxes at Office Depot for much more; so for this online price, order one or two extra in case all of the boxes aren't cut correctly.(Another reviewer warned about this, too). Also, there are slots on the front end for little cards to identify the contents of each box, but be aware that you'll have to fit, cut, and make your own - cardstock or this is not included. All in all, a pretty good deal for the price, as long as you're aware that they might not all be the same size!Customer Review: A bit flimsy but it's worth the price

As some other reviewers have mentioned, it's not extremely sturdy or durable. The materials are not of a sturdy nature-- however, they're also of an inexpensive nature. Still, it seems like the box could be sturdier-- perhaps without the buttons. It allows the company to pack them in a collapsible manner, and that probably also lower costs, but I'd be willing to pay a little more for a more sturdy design.
That being said, I've had no problem fitting CDs. The walls are not completely straight, but once you put CDs they're fine. I have one that is even holding 1 or 2 more than the 30 Jewel Cases it says is the capacity.
I'd recommend going to a dollar tree type store and buying a pack of CD sleeves. I can store 100s of CDs with 2 products that barely cost me over 10 bucks.

I read alot of the reviews here before ordering so I was expecting some trouble with assembling it and fitting my cds inside it. To my surprise, it snapped together easily. That was it. No problems at all. Yes the top is alittle big but it is suppose to be so that you can stack them. I did use the file folders that were made by the same manufacturer and everything fit fine. Jewel cases are not ment to be used with these type of boxes. so that could be the other reviewers problem. For the price, it was much better than I expected. Sometimes it best to just buy it regardless of the reviews. I will definately buy more.
