I did not buy this particular product, but after my experience, I feel compelled to warn people about iSkin keyboard protectors. The cover I bought was a black one for a full wired Apple keyboard.
The main problem is in the packaging. I would like to have some words with the idiot who thought it was a good idea to FOLD the keyboard cover in sharp creases and stuff it into a tiny box. A cover like this should be packaged without folding it, in a long, keyboard-sized box. Folding a keyboard cover makes as much sense as folding up a poster and selling it in a little box. They could have at least rolled it up instead of creasing it. Because of the way the cover was packaged, there are five very distinct creases across it, which cause it to not lay flat on the keyboard and have unsightly bumps and marks. The edges of the cover are so badly creased, it is difficult to fit it around the keyboard without it popping back up into distorted bumps. I suppose it performs the basic function of protecting my keyboard from dirt, but at the cost of making the keyboard look bad and making some of the keys awkward to press. It has been a few days, and the creases have not relaxed or flattened out at all. I believe they are a permanent consequence of the poor packaging.
Also, it's kind of weird how they did the Return and \| key. They fused the two keys into one for the cover, so the return key looks like a tetris block. It is pretty weird, but I think that's how they accommodate European keyboards as well as US keyboards with one cover.
I will never buy another keyboard cover from iSkin. I paid the thirty dollars because I expected a high quality product, and I received a terribly packaged, cheap rubbery mess. I bought a Moshi cover for my laptop keyboard, which is packaged flat and neatly, without creases, and fits perfectly. Moshi also uses a different material which feels more natural and makes it easier to type on than the rubber iSkin one. I really, really wish I had bought another Moshi cover for my wired keyboard. Moshi covers are around the same price, if not cheaper, although they seem to only come in clear.
