This product does what it says it will do and immediately too. It works like a flash pen drive and makes it so easy to move off the SD card to your hard drive just as if you were moving files from one folder to another on your computer. The caps are a little loose but if you use with care, it shouldn't be a problem. I bought this and found that it didn't work with my previous computer for some reason (probably because it was a dinosaur). I couldn't get the computer to recognize it as a drive. Also I get a warning about non-recognized software or something like that when I use it on my new computer, but at least it works now. It works, for the most part, but seems it could use some software improvements.Customer Review: Like other said it does what it says

Would give 5 stars but design could have been better/ more attractive. The loose cap and ugly grey design. It has however works with every sd card and every computer I tried it on. My plan now is to just buy upgraded sd cards instead of a whole new memory sticks. One of these readers and multiple SD cards are much easier to carry than multiple usb sticks. This SD card reader/writer is perfect for what it does and for the price! I use a PDA and laptop constantly and interchangably. The PDA takes SD cards. I use my SD cards and this USB reader/writer as a flash drive so that I have the same files for my PDA and laptop all on one drive. It's fast and simple, portable and very cheap. Good product from IO gear. I bought this thing about a year (or more) ago prior to laptops having the SD card readers built in. Can transfer any type of info through the USB including photos, music, and documents. Not sure why it doesnt work on my work computer, other than that it works everywhere else. Not sure if it is SDHC compatiable.
