I needed to upgrade from the 5 in 1 card reader built into my printer that was getting about 800kbps transfer. It was horribly slow when taking 100 RAW images off my camera's card. So I purchased one of these and now I get 17mbps which means that they're downloaded from my card before I can even finish looking at them in picasa.
Nice and small, great transfer speed, perfect for what I needed.
I highly recommend it.

I bought this in preparation for vacation, hoping to avoid carrying all the camera cords needed to download pics to our laptop. I've been using this to save all our pictures and to listen to saved music while at work or while travelling. It's awesome!! No cords and very easy to use. Just stick in the memory cards, plug into the usb of any computer and look at or listen to anything saved, with no problems. This little thing is great. I no longer need to plug my camera into its dock or use the annoying data transfer software. All I do is take the memory card out of my computer and plug it into this thing, then plug it into the computer, any computer, without needing to install or use any software. I keep it in my camera case so I can copy the pictures to a friend's computer when I am at their house without my dock.Customer Review: BUY THIS THING!!!

It works perfectly for what it does. Its rather fast (except I have heard it doesn't work on cards over 1 Gb). I forget things, and this have gone through the washer/dryer twice, and still works as perfectly as the day that I got it. It is wonderful as a flash drive and is easy to use. For the price, or any for that matter, it is the best possible item it can be. I would give it ten stars if possible.Customer Review: Useful device

PRO:
I find this incredibly useful.
SD cards are what I use for data storage, music, and in my cameras. This USB connector lets me use my cards for all this very nicely.
Furthermore, I can change its capacity by changing cards, so it does not become obsolete.
The nice rounded shape makes it easy to stuff in my pockets, too.
CON:
I wish the caps fit a little better.
