Customer Review: Not bad...a little awkward.

In general, this mouse works well. The retractable cable works well, but the spool in the middle of the cable is kind of awkward- its weight makes it tough to set the mous down without it dragging it off the table. Also, the mouse itself is pretty tiny. Big hands will get tired using it quickly. Finally, the track wheel is pretty inconsient. If you spin it too fast it stops responding sometimes, and it seems like if you use it a lot it stops responding sometimes. It works, but it's a little disappointing so far overall.Customer Review: stopped working after 8 months

I was happy with the mouse until it stopped working yesterday (device no longer recognized). I suspect that one or some of the wires inside of the cable must've broken. This was an occasional use mouse and was never (in my estimation) abused so I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get a year's use out of it. On the other hand the price was pretty low, so low that it's not worth trying to get warranty service/replacement.
I'm going to try a wireless portable mouse next....

The mouse worked instantly on my Macintosh as soon as I plugged it in. It is small (about 3"), glides easily and is quick. It requires slight effort to push the scroll wheel which I see as an advantage because that prevents accidental scrolling. The mouse glows red which prevents it getting lost, has a thin 2' cord, and works well on a mouse pad, cloth or hard surface.
EDIT: the mouse stopped working after a few months so I changed the rating to two stars.

This was bought to use with a netbook, I thought it was fitting.(Small computer small mouse) This mouse is tiny within your hand. (It almost makes you feel like a giant)It takes a few days to get use to it, after that it's effortless. It works on many surfaces and the cord recoil is a awesome feature. Personally, the scroll wheel could be smoother but hey, overall it's a great mouse and I would definitely purchase again.

Customer Review: Lightweight, accurate, and tangle-free portatbility

Although its indeed smaller than a standard-sized mouse, I find it very comfortable to use. Works on the flat surface of a laptop (in front of the keys and next to the touchmouse area), along the arm of my couch or lazyboy, on your knee, etc. Like any other optical mouse, does not work well on a reflective surface. Self-winding cord is a huge plus. Starts working as soon as you plug into a USB port on a laptop. Great travel mouse or to use around the house.
