Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of USB Travel Kit with Car Charger, Travel Adapter & Cable for Apple iPodCustomer Review: 1Amp max means the charger must output 1AMP - IMPORTANT Summary: 4 Stars
A lot of people have done this and I've tried it with multiple deals - I would say before you buy a charger make sure it's a USB 5V charger with a max (I would recommend 1 Amp output.) If it does say this it will work. That's my experience.
Otherwise you just plug it in and it won't work. This happens with a lot of stuff other than ipods too!

Customer Review: It is ok, not great Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this item under the assumption that i could use it to play my ipod in my car but when i finally recieved the item, it turned out that it is just a charger. the part that mislead me was the "travel adapter" and the comment a person made that they could listen to the ipod and charge it. the chargers work but i will have to buy an actual adapter to use to play in my car.
Customer Review: Perfect extra charger Summary: 5 Stars
So far this set up has worked really well. Charges from an outlet or in your car via cigarette lighter. Cord is not as well constructed as those from Apple but you can also use the cords that come with your ipods/nanos/etc. If you are like me and love your tunes then having extra chargers is a must for the office, gym, car, etc in case your battery levels start to dwindle.
Customer Review: It works Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this kit to power the PRO POWER portable speakers that I also purchased at this site. I didn't know if this would do the job or not but by the description that was given , I had an idea that this device would work. So far it seems to do the job. I don't own an IPOD but the charger looks like it would charge my Sansa also using the usb cable that came with my Sansa
Customer Review: piece of crap Summary: 1 Stars
This thing will mess up your ipod-- every time you leave it plugged in for awhile, your ipod will not turn off, and will stay on until the battery runs out. The USB adapter works ok, but the ipod adapter is worthless. Just spend the money and get the apple version-- it's a ripoff but it works, and you'll end up buying it anyway, after you get sick of this piece of junk.
