Customer Review: In short, DO NOT BUY

I bought 2 of these, and both have the same problems, indicating that odds are, all others will too. I'd imagine if I'd bought 12, they would all not work. I have 3 ipods in my household, all provide the same results.
When trying the wall chargers, the ipod displays the classic "Charging is not supported with this device" message. I tried the supplied cable with my computer, and it works fine, so the chargers are bad, not the cable. I also tried the charger with my oem apple usb cable, and they didn't work then either.
As for the car chargers, they don't work either (surprise surprise right?). The ipod doesn't even display the error message, it doesn't make any indication that a charger is even plugged in, which I believe most likely means they aren't even sending power out. I also tried them with my oem apple usb cable and that did not work either.
I have a few other aftermarket chargers, both wall/electrical outlet and car chargers, and they all work fine. I bought these as spares to keep in case I lose/break the chargers I'm using now, but clearly spares that don't work are useless.
As a final note, the quality/feel of these chargers are about 25-50% of all the other cheap chargers I've bought. The 2 halves of the car chargers barely stay together in the first place.
