I like it, but I don't love it. The Hawking dish doesn't quite perform as it should for the price($90-110). In fact, it didn't perform too much better than my stock wifi adapter in my HP tower! However, if your application for this device will be with a notebook or netbook, then I highly recommend. Just not for home use. I would buy the Hawking N repeater instead and upgrade the antennae for home applications as I have done.
Since I feel this to be more of a mobile applicable product and less for home use I can only give you a decent rating on this one Hawking, better luck next time. 3 tars baby.

I have some free wireless networks near my house and I thought it will be a good idea to spend some money on some good wi-fi adapter in order to improve the signal and to have good internet and not to spend each month on service. I had 1-2 bars of connection with my HP Pavilion and i find around 10-12 networks. With this adapter I have a bar and connection it's sa bad that i can not even connect to it.I still find just 4-6 networks and the signal for some networks dropped up to 50-60%. I am very unsatisfied and i will return it as soon as possible. I think it will be better to buy something different.Customer Review: Great adapter

The first one I received had a loose connection or something. It would connect/disconnect if you looked at it wrong. Amazon replaced it with out any trouble. Amazon wins hands down on how they handle RMAs! Good job Amazon!
My new adapter works beautify. The performance is beyond my expectations! It far surpasses my other 300N adapters. Where I was getting ~1.5MB/s with the other adapters, I now get ~10MB/s. Personally, I would rather have a more compact device that didn't take up desk space, but oh well. It isn't too ugly, but now I have another cable hanging over my desk.

This item is quite small and handy to pack and use. I was constantly loosing my Wifi connection from a local supplier until installing and using this mini-dish antenna. The has been the answer to my program and I am now a very happy and satisfied user of this good looking unique product. It was received as advertised in a timely fashion. I am a firm believer of buying products from Amazon.com. I find what I need, can read reviews from previous buyers for their opions, and am assured of prompt delivery as requested. Great little product. Had difficulties with having it work with the INTEL DUAL CORE MacBook Pro and only after spending hours trying, called the help number to find I needed to purchase the HWDN2 to work with the newest OS Snowleapard. I did that and it works great. I kept the HWDN1 for my wife's windows based laptop and it works as well as the one for my Mac. I've tried other products to extend the range of the 'G' and 'N' versions of wireless cards and these little dish receivers are the bomb!!! Relatively cheap too. FULL POWER AHEAD!!!!
