The creature speakers are just fantastic. Worth every penny. I have never heard such clarity and depth from computer speakers before. MP3's never sounded so good.The volume control is very cool as it senses your finger touching a metal contact. Press both metal contacts at the same time to mute. Nice touch.
The small size goes well with a lcd monitor if you are going for maximum desktop space.

I just opened the box and attached the speakers to my iMac....now I see why so many reviews of the Creatures start with the word WOW! Fantastic sound compared to the standard Apple Pro speakers that came with the iMac, and they look cool too! Great product and a great price from Amazon! Very very loud-enough to make you're ears ring (thats a good sign)
Bass is very deep and the silver volume dots on one of the speakers are touch sensitive like the ipod-now thats cool.
Great great desktop speakers, and they can hook up right to your ipod. Worth the money.

I got these speakers for christmas and hooked them up to my ibook. Right when I turned the volume up, I felt myself being blasted out of my seat by the sound! Great sound for a compact three speaker set, and a nice sophisticated design. Works very well playing music downloaded onto my Sony Vaio notebook. I would recommend this product very strongly to those looking for a good affordable PC speaker set.
