Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of JBL On Stage Micro Portable Speaker Dock for iPod (Black)Customer Review: PERFECT for traveling Summary: 5 Stars
This little portable speaker has great sound for the size of it. It is perfect for traveling if you like to play your iPod in hotel rooms or whatever. I use it with the iPod Touch 2G and it works great (I've also upgraded my iPod software to the 3G and it still works fine in the JBL speaker system). At loud parties the sound is sometimes not as loud as you might want, but it is perfect for a situation with a small group of people where the sound won't be drowned out. I think it is more worth about $65, but I paid $85. The remote works great from a far distance.
Customer Review: Ok for the price. Summary: 3 Stars
Wanted something to play my IPOD Touch around the pool. Gets pretty loud considering it's tiny size. I use it mostly to listen to audio books. At higher volume there is a slight vibration and it does not charge my 2nd or 3rd gen touch or an old 3rd gen nano I jave laying around. Also does not include a docking adapter for either nano or touch. It has a single docking adapter but I don't know which type of ipod it's for, but it sure isn't for any ipod I have. The remote works ok. For $50 it's ok but if I paid the full retail price of $100 I would return it.
Customer Review: MJ Summary: 5 Stars
I have to admit that I was not expecting much when I ordered this. I wanted something that was portable , small and that would work well especially with audio books. Boy! Was I ever pleasantly surprised! This is a mighty mini sound system. It's eminently portable - I can keep in my bag for work or travel. An added nicety is a good ,soft, padded bag for that holds the system, my IPod (in a case) and small earplugs (not my Bose set!). I think it is a great value for the money and I happy to find a product that was better (rather than worse!) than expected.
Customer Review: lasted almost 2 years Summary: 2 Stars
I wanted this product because it was small, portable (battery option) and the sound was okay. I needed a new Ipod player after my Ihome died after just a few months and decide to spend a little more hoping to get a better quality product. The On Stage was great when packing light for hotel vacations and trailer camping. However, it lasted only 2 years and I paid $98; for that price I at least expected 3-4 years. I took great care of it, leaving it mostly at the office, but the other day it just died. Get a warranty if you can or find it cheaper.
Customer Review: We are very happy with this product Summary: 4 Stars
This is the third time I ordered this product. First two times I gave it away to my friends since they liked it so much. After doing repeat research, I found this is still the best iPod portable speaker for money. It is compact, sound is reasonably great for hotel room or during travel. It works both on battery or wall outlet. All this with compact design and reasonable price. I sound like a salesman for the product, but I am no. I took time to write this since I always read others opinion before I select my products.
