I bought a pair of these for my mom a while back. I must have heard them in a store because I already knew they had the most bang for the buck. I got a new laptop I use on my desk a lot and wanted to enhance the sound. I knew just where to turn. The silver speakers match all my apple gear and sound great. I live with a sound engineer and he was amazed at the sound that comes out of these little speakers.Customer Review: Great Sound and Design

These speakers were easy to set up, they sound great and look good as well.
I use them for music and general web surfing. My only complaint is
they must be turned off manually using the volume knob.
I would have liked them to go off automatically when I shutdown my computer.
Overall I would recommend them as an excellent value, quality built with a reasonable price.

I've gone through quite a few cheapy PC speakers in the past. These little puppies pump out sound that is hard to believe. These are not symphonic sounding speakers but put out quite a nice sound for PC use. I hooked them up to my iMac which has awful internal speakers. For the price, they sound great! They also match the style of the new iMac's aluminum case. What a great Christmas present!Customer Review: Avg quality (below expectations) & buzzing sound

See a lot of other reviews about buzzing sound - this is terrible. In addition, I'd like to mention that there's nothing fancy about sound quality - it's normal, which is below my expectation for the price (I'd expect quality to be noticeably above average). Buy $5-10 speakers on ebay and get similar result with no buzz.
I'll try to check if manufacturer will accept a return.

These compact speakers are far better than my expectation. I have been using these speakers for two years, but I have never had problems. I am still happy with the quality sound. It is amazing how these small speakers can provide such wide range of frequencies. This is probably one of the best compact speakers, if you want to set up simple desktop or laptop-side sound system.
