Customer Review: Scrabble is great, Monopoly is OK
Summary: 4 Stars
The Scrabble game is great. Computer players have 3 different skill levels to choose from. Placing tiles are easy, and the accompanying dicitionary makes it possible to check on words. On the "intermediate" level, I find myself winning once every four times, which is what to be expected when you have four players.
As for Monopoly, well... It certainly plays well, but the computer cheats. You can offer a trade with a certain player which would benefit both of you greatly, and the computer player will deny you. That same player will then turn around and offer a sweet deal to another computer player that practically hands the game away to that other player. So the player you tried to make a deal with turned down an opportunity to be in a good position, so that it could put both itself and you in a WORSE position.
It's still possible to win, but you have to get one property of every set, just so the other computer opponents can't give one of the computer players a set through trades, which they WILL do if given the opportunity.
In the end, while it's still fun, the computer game play is not realistic and takes away from what is otherwise a great game.
