Picking up air signals this set is very poor.I live 17miles from ny city and could not get any reception with the built in antenna. Connecting to cable ,it gets good reception.The buttons on the remote are too small especially the channel up/down one.Product does have good controls on the set itself and its ok for the price!Customer Review: ONLY WORKED FOR A MONTH

This product was terrific for a month...then the screen went white and i was never able to get it to work again.
My friend got hers at the same time...she's not getting all the prime channels, but hers still works. Though I must say that I used mine more than she did.
I am too leery to get another Haier.

I live in Houston TX where there are ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliate stations and I can only get NBC programming. The antenna is much too weak. Using a stronger antenna than the one furnished with the set provides better reception but I am still unable to receive signals from ABC and CBS. I NEEDED A SMALL TV FOR MY KITCHEN COUNTER AND IN THE 2009 ECONOMY, I COULDN'T SPEND A FORTUNE. ENTER THIS HAIER PRODUCT! I ONLY NEEDED TO ADD MY BOSE SPEAKERS (since it's so noisy in my kitchen) AND TA DA! SIZE AND PRICE WERE RIGHT AND PICTURE QUALITY IS SUPER. WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR? I was very anxious to get the little tv as it was going to fit in the kitchen space nicely. Well, it never did work properly. We moved it from room to room and never received a signal. We had it connected to a converter box as well as an antenna. It was a complete disappointment unfortunately. It was returned.
