Customer Review: A Pleasant Surprise
Summary: 4 Stars

I was searching for a portable TV to watch the World Series on as I was going to be away from home on a few of the games. I did some research and read many reviews before deciding on this model. I figured if it was as good as most of the reviews I would be satisfied. I received it, turned it on, let the auto programmer run through the channels and immediately got an excellent picture. To say I was surprised would be understating. Also, I don't know if it's just the older models or not but I don't have to run the auto program every time I turn it on. It returns to the channel that I was watching when I shut it off. And yes I shut it down with the swicth on the side. The ONLY problem I have had with this set was when I was in the middle of a large school building I didn't get any reception at all. Haven't tried yet, but maybe a different antenna would help there. Several people commented on the great picture and inquired about the price. All were shocked that such an inexpensive set could produce such a quality picture. I understand that location could have a lot to do with the reception, but for me this was one of the better purchases I have made online.

Customer Review: Disappointed
Summary: 2 Stars

I have been somewhat disappointed and dismayed with this product. I loved the fact that there was a small portabile TV with built in Digital tuner that could replace our little 4" analog TV when the Networks made their broadcast switch.

However, much to our dismay, the reception/playback is poor. Often, it seems that a station "hangs" and goes haywire. It will not pick up certain stations at all even though it is right next to our main TV which receives the same stations without issue also through small rabbit ear antenae and a converter box. yesterdayI had to stop watching my football game altogther because the reception was VERY unstable. Certainly it depends, too, on the station and where this unit is located but I would expect better in today's technology.

The image quality is fairly poor. It is clear enough to watch but the details are blurred. I did not expect HDTV quality, but I did expect better.

The battery life is suppose to be 6 hours but usually dies after about 3 or less.

It is light weight and compact and fairly easy to use, though.

I wish that more companies would offer a small TV like this that can be very portable, easy to use and inexpensive.

Customer Review: no signal or data available
Summary: 2 Stars

Nice looking TV however at home nor in the yard and i don't live in nowhere land. The tv would not pull in any channels. I bought an external amplified antenna and still no signal /date / channels. This is a waste of a TV if you bought it to be a PORTABLE TV. I sent it back.

Customer Review: Love this little TV. Better than expected.
Summary: 5 Stars

First off I am not an expert in electronics, but I do know when something works and I like it. I ordered this little TV to put next to my computer to watch some programs and the news. I was a bit leary at first so I did some research about the company. Last year they had profits of over $17 billion and employed over 500,000 people world wide. They have limited partnerships with Phillips and Toshiba. I thought that sounded pretty sound to me.

The TV arrived in great shape, packaged very nicely and secure. I opened the inner box, removed the contents and tried to read the manual. I say tried as the print is very small and the instructions are limited. I found the on screen menu much more helpful. I see here a lot of folks having problems with their antenna, fortunately on my previous computer I had a TV tuner card connected to my main Digital Cable box. I simply screwed the cable into the TV, set it up through menu and let the TV do the rest. It found over 100 stations including the local stations. I was really impressed. The picture seemed a little fuzzy though. It was like looking through glasses not prescribed for you. Then I noticed a bubble on the screen and noticed a clear plastic sheet covering the screen. Once I removed that the picture was beautiful. It has many features. I use the zoom to fill up the screen, made no changes at all to the color or any other changes. It's a joy to have sitting on my desk.

Customer Review: Best choice for a truly portable TV
Summary: 5 Stars

I do video work and needed a TV that had a/v, analog tuner and digital tuner, coax input, and rechargable....this unit was a perfect fit. Very compact and seems to be well made. Easy to operate.
