This product exceeds all of my expectations. Just a few adjustments to the antenna and the television and the pictures become very clear. Since I purchased it mostly for the weather reports, it is a very worthwhile investment.
I highly recommend this television for purchase!

I can't give much of a review because I only was able to get half of the screen to work. I guess I just got a lemon but I wouldn't purchase this off the Internet. I would buy locally in case it needs to be returned. I returned the TV and didn't get a replacement. I'm still looking for a good portable TV.Customer Review: defective product probably

Unlike glowing praise by others, my review is very limited. The screen image is literally awful to look at and is much too blue. I assume there must be a defect because the colors are so bad, even with a high quality DVD player's cable connected. There is no black in the image, and all the other colors are somewhat wrong. I'll report back when Amazon replaces it with a properly functional model because you others have had rather good things to say about the Haier. It otherwise feels like a nice portable TV, but it will have to work like one first.
Update:
Image is still too blue without black, but remarkably this Haier TV works in a moving car with just the included 3' whip antenna in a desolate area 40 miles from the nearest TV station! Even with windows closed, the signal from a marginal station was constant for several miles that I tried it. I suspect in urban areas this would be even better. Backseat viewing for the children, with headphones, might take their minds off of being bored.
What sucks is that it won't store available stations once turned off, and it must be rescanned each time.

this is the third portable tv that we sent back to different suppliers because all we get on the screen is "NO DATA" after several attempts to get broadcasting on this t.v. even after reading how it picks up all channels it doesen't get any channels at all. I'm sure since broadcasting in digital now has caused many headaches for a lot of people.I would't recomending this product to the junk men.
