Ad copy says this is a 5X magnifing lens. I already had a 2X lens so I know how strong they are. When I received this lens, it is not any stronger than than the 2X lens I already had. I contacted the seller and they didn't know if they had sent me the wrong one or if they were mis-led by the company that supplies them. They were no help at all. The packaging this comes in does not specify what the magnification degree is, so no claim of 5X is on the packaging. Anyway, the seller gave me an immediate refund which was good. I would hesitate to buy again from the sellar as they don't know for sure what they are selling on this item.Customer Review: satisfied

I am completely satisfied with my purchase, the speed of delivery and the fact that I paid by check immediately after receiving the item. As a senior I do not believe in credit cards and I will not enter my debit #'s on the computer so I was able to pay by check. I received item in good time. Hower, this is NOT a five (5) power Glass. It is more like a two (2) power Glass. I have four other Magnifying Glasses and none are over three (3) power but all are more powerful than this supposed five (5) power Glass. I will not buy another product from this manufacturer. My Mother loves to read, but at 91 her eyes are starting to fail. I buoght this as part of her Mother's Day gift. She said that she could now read a whole page of a paperback with out having to move the magnifer and that it was so nice and clear to see through. The handle is nice and long so it makes it easy to hold. She is very happy with it.Customer Review: Not 4X magnification

After receiving my magnifier I compared it to the 2X version that I bought in a local drug store. It was the same. I contacted the vendor to complain that it did not provide 4X magnification. They said they had other similar complaints and were considering dropping the item from their list of products. This is not a 4X magnifier.
