So far so good! I noticed after I got this that Eton has a newer version of this with digital radio tuner, so if you are using the radio for more than the odd listen away from power, you may want to go that route. For me, happily the price difference probably would have led me to this on anyway. The flashlight is nice and bright with only a few turns of the handle. The radio picks up stations quite some distance away it the antennae is properly aimed station dialed in.
The usb charger works, although I would definitely agree that it would mainly be an emergency situation. I haven't tried the solar function really, but it's nice to have another source for some power.
So, so far seems to work as described.
