I'll keep it short and simple. Bought this radio and love it. I actually use it when walking my dog at night so I can listen to the radio and use the light, which is quite bright. Hope I never have to use it as an emergency device, but it's a good thing to have handy, if just for the occasional black-out. This is a solid unit that works well with our iPod Touch but will not charge my iPhone 3GS unless you turn the crank at EXACTLY the right speed. I am putting together an emergency earthquake kit and this is perfect. It is small but works great. The flashlight isn't a turbo strong light, but works just fine. Charging my phone is a plus too. This would be a great addition to a car kit too.Customer Review: Handy gadget

Compact, light weight, good reception, reasonably bright light. The only thing that concerns me is that it says in the packaging that it is mot moisture resistant. Apart from that, I would make this purchase again if presented with the need.
