Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Griffin iTalk Pro - MicrophoneCustomer Review: iTalk Pro - Exactly what I was looking for Summary: 5 Stars
I had been doing some research on voice recorders for iPods for a little over a month now. When I finally placed my order for my iPod, I knew exactly which voice recorder to get. Fortunately, for me, Griffin released the iTalk Pro just in time.
Simply plug it into the dock connector of your 5th generation iPod, press the iTalk button and start talking or whatever. I set the iPod quality to high and am very pleased with the results.
Good job, Griffin.
Customer Review: Griffin iTalk Pro - just what I was looking for Summary: 5 Stars
While I did not expect perfect sound quality, I am extremely happy with how the iTalk has performed for me. I recently started taking voice lessons, and wanted an easy way to record myself singing while my teacher played the piano accompaniment. The iTalk is easy to use with my iPod nano, gives adequate sound for this purpose, and only cost me $20 used. I can hear where I have made errors singing, and can practice along with the piano recording in between lessons.
Customer Review: Good stuff Summary: 4 Stars
It is a good device. It has good quality and on the contrary to what I have read on different websites, the battery lasts over 3 hours of recording in my 60GB ipod. easy to use.
The only bad thing is the ridiculous size per recording in comparison to many digital voice recorders. Other than that it's working OK.
Now getting the stuff delivered took me almost a week and I paid for "Prime" service with Amazon... what if I didn't have it? (sigh!)
Customer Review: What I expected Summary: 4 Stars
I recieved my i-talk just in time for my rehersals in a new show. I need it to record m vocal parts. It worked just I expected and there really were no problems except for the slight delay when you first start recoeding. But I just ended up pressing pause for something if it went back and forth. I did appriciate that it just set things up as seperated recordings unlike having to rewind or fast forward a regular old tape. I would definately recommend it.
Customer Review: Best cheap thing I ever bought... Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this as a backup recording device for emergency and for fun... but it has ended up being great. THe recording quality is amazingly clear and good, and even in a crowded room can pick out what you want it too. I've used it to record interviews, sample environments, and do little demo songs so that I don't forget and can use them as scratch tracks for recording... very nice, super easy to use, and small and cheap. perfect for what it is.
