Customer Review: Cheap and easy way to turn my iPod Touch into a VOIP Phone
Summary: 4 Stars

Using my 32GB iPod Touch running the 2.2.1 firmware and the free Fring App I have turned my MP3 player into a SIP(VOIPStunt/Skype phone and with a phone number from IPkall.com as long as I'm connected to wifi I can make FREE SIP call anywhere in the USA and recieve incoming calls also. At first, I was using the headphones with the builtin microphone but the iTalk along with the iPods speakers allow me to hold and use like a phone to hold a conversation. Until the 3.0 firmware upgrade allows me to use bluetooth with the itouch is the best you can find for the price.

Customer Review: iTalk Pro a huge disappointment
Summary: 1 Stars

I had an older model iTalk with my old iPod, which worked great! When I had to replace my iPod with a newer model, I immediately ordered a new iTalk Pro. What a disappointment! The recordings are full of pops and hisses, unlike my old one, which recorded as clear as a bell. These are virtually unusable recordings unless you have very sophisticated audio cleaning software, and even then they are barely passable to listen to. This device was a total waste of money, unfortunately. Maybe I just got a bad one, but it is of exceedingly poor quality.

Customer Review: Could be worse.
Summary: 2 Stars

Any professional classical singers who are looking for something to use for your voice lessons or hoping for something that will give you good quality recordings for demo cd's: find something else. This thing works great for dictation, but is not equipped to deal with that much sound. It cuts out and skips several seconds at a time. Also, the description says that it has speakers. It doesn't. Perhaps a mistake (although repeated several times), but nevertheless, a fallacy. But like I said, it was fine for dictation.

Customer Review: Excellent for recording voice lessons
Summary: 5 Stars

I use this product to record voice lessons. Though I would not necessarily recommend you make CDs to send for jobs, auditions, competitions with this product, it certainly does a decent jobs. (It can be used for those things in a pinch, just make sure you know the room well enough to know where to place it.) It does tend to run the battery down on my iPod when I use it, so don't expect to use it for more than an hour and a half or so.
Excellent product. Great quality, clear sound, totally worth the price.

Customer Review: This is a good product for the price
Summary: 4 Stars

As a simple voice recorder, it does a great job. I gave it four stars because you can hear when the hard disk spins during the recording but it's not bad. Plus I don't know if you could avoid that anyway. If you need a better quality recording, you can hook up whatever mic system you like to the 1/8th inch jack on the bottom. For the price, this does everything that I need. I use it for voice memos, recording a practice session with my guitar or capturing random audio wherever I may be. I recommend it.
