This little device is the easiest recording device I own. Although the results are a little compromised due to the small space between microphones and the smallness of the whole device it still picks up all of the details in clear sound. It also has automatic adjustment for the level of input as well as pause and (my favorite) delete options from your I-pod.Customer Review: A Great Product---If your iPod is new enough

I would like to make it very clear here that this device only and I repeat only works with the newest iPod Nanos (the metallic ones) and the newest iPod Video's. I have an iPod Mini, and, as such, this is more or less entirely useless to me. It is also useless to people with the older Nanos, and the older iPods in general. This product was recommended to me and I bought it still feeling skeptical. Upon receiving it ad trying it out, the recording quality is awesome on both of the settings. Yes it does use your battery a lot but I think it's obvious that this shouldnt be used to record hours and hours of audio. It's a great buy and a strongly recommend it.Customer Review: Does NOT work with IPod Touch !

The ITalk Pro is not compatible with IPod Touch!
When you connect it to the Ipod touch it automatically disconnect the external speakers. On top of that the microphone doesn't work (it does work with my ipod Nano).
I purchased the Italk for VOIP (Skype) but it does not work with any of the apps.

The iTalk Pro voice recorder works just fine with the new 3G iPod Nanos. You just plug it in and a "Voice Memos" tab will appear in the main menu. You select it and then hit record and that's it. Your voice memo will then be imported to your iTunes library the next time you connect up your iPod to your computer.
