Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Griffin iClear Case for Sansa e200 Series MP3 Players (Clear)

Customer Review: Lightweight perfect fit for the Sansa
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't say anything negative about this case. The clear acrylic look fits perfectly over the Sansa's body, allowing access to only the earphone jack and the scrollwheel and buttons. Everything else is securely protected. I've dropped my Sansa countless times and it's unscathed thanks to this case. I've even dropped it with such force that the case actually came apart! (must have made impact on the corner). Case is fine, and the MP3 player is undamaged (amen for flash memory!)

From all the wear and tear (the case is becoming scratched from all the drops!) the screen is completely visible and, most importantly, the actually Sansa still has it's high-gloss, black finish as if it were brand new. Great great product.

I will agree with a previous review: The case itself, due to it protecting the entire product, makes you have to hit the directional buttons coming from the direction of the scroll wheel. You only use these buttons for Start/Pause and Back/Forward, so the "inconvenience" is neglible. Great product.

Customer Review: One Trick
Summary: 4 Stars

This is my 1st mp3 player. So far so good. Joined Napster for fresh music. e280 connects flawlessly using Napster software. Sound is great but I'm no audiophile. Tons of settings and options! Sick deal 4 the money !! One problem. If your computer sends more than 5 to 7 amps through your usb connection it overpowers the player(shuts off and also only shows half charges). Press and hold on/off button 30 seconds and it's cured. I now charge through my inMotion stereo for Sansa, Timex clock for Sansa, or my wall charger as they have amp converters. Sansa lost 1 star because of that. Bought Sandisk after reading good reviews, excellent price, user battery change, and if I bought Apple I felt like I would be selling out to the man!!!! Power to the people! Post Script: Expandable Memory!!!!

Customer Review: Sansa E200
Summary: 5 Stars

Works great. I am hard on pods and this feels much stronger than others.Do you really need to carry every tune you own with you everyday? Buy a Sansa and carry more tunes than you can hear in a week.I use a miniSD flash card for study and built in memory for Tunes, Photos and Podcasts.FM works fine and the on air recording is simple.I play a lot with Dig Photos and was suprise at the look of photos and Art work on the screen.Built in mic works as a back up to my Olympus DS-2 (great voice recorder).File system takes a little time to get into but works fine. Earbuds did not work for me kept falling out and hurt.Replace them. Even with throw away buds still a 5 star buy!

Customer Review: Payed for itself many times over
Summary: 5 Stars

I dropped the player from about 5ft onto a tiled floor (accidentally), and I'm sure it would have been destroyed if it wasn't for this case. The case did come apart, but wasn't damaged. I suppose it was also a good thing the e200 is flash based. As for the ergonomics, while the RW, FW buttons are a little awkward to press, after a short while it's no big hassle, and such a good fit around the player probably couldn't be achieved with a a lot of room around the buttons. You might find "bubbles" on the screen, but applying pressure in a slightly different spot to close the case seems to work to get rid of them, although it takes a few tries.

Customer Review: Protects the screen and everything not needing access. :)
Summary: 4 Stars

I got the iClear case for my e260 and am quite pleased with it.
No need for any skins with this thing, as it covers and protects
the screen. All of the options are accessible with this case,
even the record button and microphone. I don't have an L-shaped
jack for my buds/phones, but I did read 2 reviews on another forum
that confirms this is possible. Also, my Griffin iTrip fits with
the iClear on without a hitch. The only reason I didn't
give this 5 stars is that it makes the |<< and >>| buttons a bit
harder to utilize, but I got used to that rather quickly.
