This one was the best item for the value. I was looking for a simple splitter and comparing the prices, paying extra couple of bucks you get the volume control feature which is important. I like to listen to music loud, my girlfriend prefers lower. I turn the music all the way on on ipod and adjust the levels from the control slider on the item. Very convenient to use, I wish it was in white though (not a big deal)

This product is great in concept- it fills a necessary niche with individual volume controls (a must when two people share the same source), and performs well....except that the plastic housing for the jack is VERY weak and doesn't give like most normal headphone jacks. I was using it in an airline seat and snapped the housing beyond repair when I brushed up against it. Good product, but be careful with it...Customer Review: Way too bulky

I ordered this so my girlfriend and I could both listen to movies while we fly on a trip soon. I attempted to plug it into my iPad with Otterbox Defender case and it just doesn't fit. The plug has way too much plastic and is far larger then pretty much any headphone connector I've ever seen. Sure the actual metal part is 3.5mm, but if the plastic is too big it is useless.Customer Review: Nifty little item

I bought this headphone splitter to use at the airport because I knew that my sister and I would have alot of time to wait for out flight. Worked great with my portable DVD player, and the indidivual volume control is awesome! It especially came in handy because of the differences in the headphone that we had and one needed to have the volume louder than the other.Customer Review: Good product

I've used this splitter with a portable DVD player, and have been satisfied. There's not much to be said about the product. It works. You can easily adjust the volume, even in the dark.
If you ever buy a splitter, make sure that you buy one with adjustable volume. No two people will want the volume adjusted exactly the same when using headphones!
