The Griffin PowerJolt (Redesign) is a iPhone / iPod compatible car charger which has some flexibility beyond traditional iPhone car chargers that I had owned before.
My previous Griffin PowerJolt SE Car Charger with Coiled Cable for iPod and iPhone 1G (Black)worked fine but was a bit limited due to the integrated iPhone cable - this will not work with some iPhone accessories such as the PocketDock Line Out USB and can also be an issue due to the short length of the cable. The Griffin PowerJolt allows me to use my SendStation accessory and to use a USB extension cable if the charger is not close to the iPhone.
Like most Griffin accessories, this unit is well-designed and rock solid and has performed without a issue in four months of use. Highly recommended.
Note: Make sure you get the correct product, esp. if ordering from a Marketplace seller - one of them shipped me an older design PowerJolt which was not designed for iPhone charging. The redesign unit has a round end with an LED ring to indicate charge status; most of the older units have an oval-shaped end.

This is my second one... Not because it went bad or anything like that, It dropped between the seats on my last fishing trip and got mutilated when someone adjusted the seat position.
I didn't think twice about which charger I wanted to get to replace it.
Do not hesitate getting this model if you need one.

Works well with my iPhone 3GS. Charges quickly. I like the glowing color of the charger to indicate charging vs done. I have no tried to sync with this cable. Cable is a good length, allowing my iPhone to rest in the cup holder or on the passenger seat comfortably. Its good as expected. Only thing bothers is that the light on the charger which is supposed to indicate whether the charging is fully complete is not showing 100% correct. Even though its charging, it still shows green light. Other than that, charging is all fine as expected. Overall, its a good product.Customer Review: Works fine

Works as advertised with my 3GS. I like that the cable is detachable. I suppose I could use it to charge other USB devices, but I haven't tried that.
