Quick delivery of the correct product as advertised. Units charge well and retain their charge well too. Range is difficult to judge, depends on too many factors. Sound quality is fine. Operation the same as any other unit. Charge stands are good, better as those units like Cobra with just a wire, this looks more professional. The only minus point is a bit the clip for at your belt, a bit too plastic but that is only minor. I prefer these above Cobra units.Customer Review: Great unit

Does it get any better than this? Install the driver in one click. Install the handy GPS information utility from the CD. Plug the GPS in. Mine created a virtual COM3 port. It's not obvious which port to select, but the utility will show you. 7 satellites picked up indoors within a minute. My Magellan eXplorist 500LE only got two. I tested the unit with Microsoft MapPoint 2002. Very well built. Long USB cord, built-in magnet, suction cup. I love it.Customer Review: Great device

I haven't tested it a lot yet, but the build quality is good. It works perfectly fine on Windows 7 (be sure to run the GPS INFO UTILITY with administrative rights to detect the COM ports, otherwise it's not going to show any of the COM ports to get access to the device). It works fine with Garmin Mobile PC, it's just like having a Garmin GPS in your computer. The magnet inside the device is strong enough for a firm attachment to any metal surface.Customer Review: excellent product

Very pleased with the product. Have been using for a couple of months now. Lighting fast position acquisition is excellent when using with topo software in the field with a laptop. Position can be acquired, marked, then hibernation for power savings. Software was easy to load. Once "Comm Port" was set up - it was off and running. Works flawlessly with other application software using GPS. You can't go wrong with this product.

I have been using this with my marine navigator software and I am a very pleased.
The shipment arrived as was promised and it has been working well from day one and if you are planning to purchase this great little, inexpensive gadget to use it with your navigation software I suggest strongly first check with the software vendor's website just to make sure their software and the antenna are compatible.
