I'm using this kit with my Vado HD and it works great. I only have 3 USB ports on my laptop and with my mouse and other devices (ipod, etc.) its really annoying to have to lose a port when the Vado is charging. So I got this adapter instead so I can just plug it into the wall. Works great, no problems with charging the device. The 6 foot extension cord is also handy when plugging it into the wall. I don't have a car so the car charger is a paper-weight to me but at this price it didn't matter. There is nothing really special about this kit that is specific for the Vado HD (its just a generic USB adapter) but it works and at this price you can't complain.
