This product is not going to work for any computer / laptop / TV. Description of this product failed to mentioned that - IT DOES NOT WORK with ANALOG TV. If you have old (not LCD / LED) TV then this product doesn't work.
Total length of this produt is less than a FOOT...very difficult to directly connect to any TV. You will need extra cabels to connect...you will laos loose some quality is doing so.
Amazon should stop selling such products.

This product ships in a timely manner, but in my opinion is a waste of money. I purchased the product to hook my computer to my tv. It didn't work. So I bought a converter box thinking it might work. The converter box worked, this product didn't. I was very disappointed. That dosn't mean that everything HDE sales is bad,but this one was not a good product of theirs. So be careful of what you buy and don't be taken. Hope this helps.

I got this to hook up my '360 to my HP monitor.
I hooked it up and the monitor wasn't getting any signal at all.
tried different things, rebooting etc.
I know that the xbox is outputting because I plugged the audio end into some speakers and I'm getting all the right responses there
Nothing I tried works and I *am* using it for its correct purpose.
I'll fix the rating to five stars if I get a working cable

I HOPE YOU READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY THIS. ADVERTISED AS A VGA TO SVID/RCA CONVERTER BUT DOES NOT CONVERT. IM NOT SURE WHAT IT DOES? I WANTED TO USE IT TO CONNECT MY PC MONITOR OUT TO SEND THE CONVERSION TO S-VIDEO INTO MY VIDEO MIXER BUT NOTHIG HAPPENED. SAD BUT TRUE. LISTEN TO THE VOICES OF THOSE THAT HAVE GONE BEFORE YOU. IF YOU ARE TRYING A SIMILAR SET-UP, THEN YOU MAY WANT TO TRY GETTING A "BOX TYPE" CONVERTER THAT MAY ACTUALLY CONVERT THE SIGNAL. :(Customer Review: Useless, unless you have TV out card

Bought this item so that I can connect my computer/laptop to my TV. The description of the item does state that you need TV out card for this item to work, but I bought it anyway because the same VGA port was working with other devices like projector and other switchers i have used.
Connected this item to my VGA port and it did not work, neither S-Video nor RCA. Nothing I can do to make it work unless I buy a TV card, which I am not doing.
