I was tired of turning my laptop on just so I can charge my iTouch. Bought this because for $4 might as well try it. The Apple version is $30 and $4 is a meal at McDonald's so might as well. Got the product and it works just fine. That's all I could ever want. The look of it is that it's white and again it works. I've only had it for a few weeks but for $4 I could afford to buy 6 of these for an Apple product. I'm feeling this will last. It's kind of like buying a really expensive Monster cable vs a cheap HDMI cable on Amazon. Both do the exact same job but the difference is branding and money you've spent. Try these out first before wasting your money on an Apple adapter. I love Apple but these work fine and I only spent $4 so I can't complain.Customer Review: Not measuring up

This product at first seems awesome. it has a retractable cord which makes it easy to carry around, it comes with a car adaptter and a wall outlet. However I have ordered this product twice before, because the USB cable itself broke. Over time, the coating on the cord begins to separate from either end. And once the coating has seperated, the actual wires begin to break. And then when you connect your ipod, no charge. So as much of a deal you might get with this product, the cord itself will break in about 6 months or less.
The wall adapter...a piece broke off after my second time plugging it into the wall.
No complaints for the car adapter. Best bar is, since its a USB car adapter I can plug my other USB electronics into it.

First off, these are chargers and cables for such purpose.
They were not designed to be fancy or bling, they were designed for one purpose
Deliver power to your iPod over and over again.
In this regard they perform admirably and work exactly as intended. The extendale cable was very useful in a car trip where someone in the back seat needed to charge their iPod and listen at the same time.
The plug to USB adapter I use at work to charge the iPod Nano my girlfriend has, and it can double duty as a USB charger for a cell phone that needs USB
The only let down was the cigarette lighter to USB adapter works but charges slower than I anticipated it would, it does work however.

There's certainly nothing pretty about this charger kit - however, that's not what I was going for. After looking on the Apple website, and doing some comparison shopping on Amazon, this is the set I settled on. With my Amazon Prime, I ended up paying less than $5 for this.
It does exactly what I need - I leave the car charger piece in my car, and then when I'm traveling with my ipod, I charge it that way - otherwise, I just plug it into the computer. I found it difficult to find an inexpensive wall charger for my ipod, and this is perfect, the plug also can be used for other USB charger items, my sister has used it to charger her Zune in the past. For the price, you really couldn't ask for anything more.

I am very happy with this device. It charges my Ipod as quickly as my computer. I love the advantage of being able to use the car charger as well and not depending on my PC to charge it. The convenience is so much nicer. It can be charged near any electrical outlet wherever I go and takes almost no space when traveling. This was a great buy, considering the Apple people want about 3 times as much money for their custom charger. The only thing I would have liked was an insert on how the product works and simple directions (even though it's easy to figure out). Many of the new replicas coming out are great but come with no instructions. I think even the most simple design should come with some sort of short narrative.
