Customer Review: A "Must Have" Charger!

For two years I have had my Plantronics Discovery 975 Bluetooth Headset - New OEM in Bulk Packaging plugged into my desktop for recharging and then lugging it back and forth to my truck. The USB port is the only way to charge it. The charge is only good for a day or more, so I found myself using it less and less.
Now with this `Universal Apple USB Charger Kit' (meaning if it messes up your Apple product, it won't void your warranty unlike non Apple products). Now I can leave the `kit' in my truck (out of sight) and never have to worry about my Bluetooth running out of a charge. I can also use it for my iPod and my iPhone as well. The kit also includes a wall socket/USB recharger and a coil cable that is plenty long enough, but be warned - it does not recoil. If you check the other prices, you can get this for almost nothing. It's a great value of a buy!

wow! this works amazing, i wasn't sure whether or not to get it, because of some of the reviews on power surges, but that can happen with ANY small appliance. I always seem to be the one to get ripped off, and my bf raves about finding better deals than me. he bought his kit 4 around $10, and my total came to a little over $4! i no i could have got it for less, but this is still an amazing deal, and i figured i might get something really crappy for 25 cents. the only negative that i can think of is that it didn't come in it's origanal package, but that doesn't bother me, it works! i lost my usb cord a long time ago, so i couldn't use my ipod, im SO excited that i can use my ipod again, with the convenance of pluging it into the wall!

(i bought this for the usb cord and wall charger, i don't own a car, so i haven't tested that part out,and ill probebly never really use it. but for refrance, my reveiw does not reflect on the car charger)

considering apple gives you only one option for charging your ipod, this bundle is an absolute must.
The wall charger is really handy, especially for vacations or a stay at a friends house where you really do not want to lug around your laptop.
The travel charger I have not tried yet but I can only assume it works as well as the wall charger. if it proves to be a disappointment I will update this review, until then I am betting it is fine.
The retractable syncing cord was actually something I didn't think I'd need or use. However I am so grateful I got it because it really is quite handy. Not only does it reduce wire clutter but it is very nice to have an extra cable, one to keep in the car for travel charging so I don't have to worry about forgetting it. And one for inside, either to bring with you to use with the wall charger or to use with the computer to sync music.
A truly great product at an extremely competitive price.

I bought three of these sight unseen because they were so cheap and because I mistakenly thought they would be shipped at no cost with my iPod. I figured at a couple of bucks each how could I lose? Well first the shipping was not included because it was a different vendor. So the shipping cost took the average up to about $5 each. You would think that still a bargain but the darn things don't work. Or rather work when they want too. My daughter had her phone plugged in all night and all it did was loose power. I plugged the same unit in at my desk and it took nearly all day to charge. Maybe a loose connection. On another unit I plugged it into the lighter on my truck to charge. Almost immediatly I smelled something like hot plastic. I pulled the unit and it was very hot. I won't reuse it. Could be dangerous. I didn't contact the manufacurer because it isn't worth my time to hassle of $20. But I wouldn't buy again.Customer Review: As Advertised

I ordered this charger half-expecting to be disappointed and throw it out within minutes of receiving it on account of it not working. However, I was pleasantly surprised that these were ~$3.50 very well spent! The charger arrived in what seems to be almost brand-new condition (some markings here and there), and the build quality is better than expected for the price (not perfect, but functional). I haven't had the chance to test the car charger, but the AC adapter and the USB cable charged my iPod Touch 2G at what seemed to be a regular amount of time; the iPod was perfectly functional during charging. Also, the USB cable worked as a regular iPod data cable when I used it to connect my iPod to my computer.
Overall this charger does what I wanted it to do, so 5 stars.
P.S. Some reviews mention that the quality of the charger may vary depending on the vendor. I ordered mine from Importer520.
