First, This product did not work for me.
I did not realize that my projector does not accept "componet" signal.
If it was componet acceptable, then this would have worked perfect.
But my projector is an older one that even though it says RGB - that does NOT mean COMPONET!
I really wanted this to work. But in order for this to work, I need what they call a "Scaler" in order to convert componet to RGB and work with my projector.
Look at this website or ask them PRIOR to you trying any cable/device you aren't totally sure will work.

This cable is NOT to connect your VGA output to your Componet input on your TV.
It IS to connect your Componet output from a video source(dvd) via VGA input on a COMPONET capable device (newer projector). Make sure that just because yours might say RGB that it is in fact compatible with componet!

I see so many that have thought this cable is intended for something that it is NOT intended for.
Just because it says RCA does not mean it is Red,White,Yellow.
If you think VGA contains audio signals (red,white) - then please put down the cables and call a professional before you get hurt.
