Customer Review: To Note Hesitate to Purchase! Great, Great Card at Great, Great Price!

After much searching (at Amazon.com and many, many other sites and local stores), I purchased this memory card for my FujiFilm digital camera. These cards are hard to find of late because, as I understand it, they are not being made anymore. I may be wrong about that, but no local stores (such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, etc...) carry SmartMedia Cards.
My camera only came with a 16MB card, which is nowhere near enough memory. This card holds 146 pictures on the 2MB setting; 76 on the 4MB setting; and 35 on the 8MB setting. If you take a lot of pictures, get two cards. I am completely satisfied with this card for the price. It processes pictures quickly and does everything I need it to do.

My original 40 mb card became damaged and I went to our local camera dealer to purchase a replacement. They told me the item was all but obsolete and all they were able to offer was an 8 mb card for 59.95. They further said that they were unable to order any of these cards as they were out of production. I thought this odd because while my camera is not a 5.1 mega pixel it is a 1.3 and takes excellent pictures. To my surprise I found their information to be incorrect and ordered two of the 128 mb cards immediately. At my normal setting my camera will take 587 pictures on one card. Like many others, I have a digital camera and could not find the media for it. When I saw this card on Amazon, I wondered if it could really be the one I needed. I am glad to say the card works perfectly, was priced less than any I had bought previously, and I received it within a few days of ordering.
One thing missing from the Amazon product description was the voltage rating (my camera book says use 3.3V media only), but I was able to find that information by following the link to the ShopTronics website.
I am very pleased to be using my camera again. Great vendor, service and product. Thanks!

I was totally satisfied with the service provided by ShopTronics (thru Amazon.com). The product ordered (Samsung SmartMedia 128MB Digital Flash Memory Card) was packaged in an outstanding manner. I could not locate this card within my local area (checked all Photo Shops and Fry's Electronics). This card, which cracked due to the many times of removing and inserting into my Olympus C2100 Camera. I also need to point out that the product arrived well within the promised delivery date provided when I order the item. Would I utilize ShopTronics/Amazon in the future?? Yes indeed --- definitely!!!!!

I was very glad to find this memory card the first time I looked for it on Amazon.com. I was considering buying a new camera because the memory cards I had were only 32 MB and I was getting annoyed with the fairly small number of pictures I could take before downloading them to my computer. I was afraid I would not be able to find this kind of memory anymore. However, when I found it so easily and skimmed through some reviews, I decided I could just buy this and keep on using my camera, which otherwise I'm still pretty happy with. I got it very quickly, too, so all in all it was a great buy.
