Customer Review: Garmin Nuvi 270 Navigator-Europe,USA Summary: 5 StarsWe bought this product based on such great reviews and have not been disappointed. The nuvi 270 gets you where you need to go with ease and I can't wait to use it for bigger trips, especially in Europe, avoiding those paper maps whenever possible in favor of the nuvi and site seeing. The cost was much better than in local electronic stores with models that did not include Europe. I could not find this version in our local electronic stores and it would have cost approx. $200 to upgrade the North American version to include Europe. This one has it all and my husband couldn't be happier!
Customer Review: Garmin GPS Summary: 4 StarsI like it. It is easy to use. Once in a while it will tell me to turn the wrong way on a one way street but other than that it's a good product for the price.
Customer Review: The Nuvi 270 is a great value Summary: 5 StarsI selected this model because it had loaded maps of Europe and was attractively priced. It works perfectly, and in Europe where you cant even read the signs it is a fantastic help. This is a great value!
Customer Review: No choice to avoid individual route Summary: 4 StarsThis product is a good one. I own 2 Garmin GPS units and am happy with them. But I hope Garmin would consider adding a feature to its software. I was trying to avoid driving on Highway 407 ETR in Toronto. But Garmin software does not allow avoiding individual roads. In my Nextar GPS, I can tap on the turn list and then tap to avoid a certain road on the turn list. This is very handy. I wonder why Garmin did not think of this. In my case, if I want to avoid 407 ETR, I have to disable "toll road" through setting. But then this will disable other toll road in addition to 407 ETR. As a result, the GPS tells me to travel 100 more miles to my destination. I just need to avoid 407 ETR! I wish Garmin has something like the Nextar system.
