we bought 2 of these first one would just die with full charge. Both had problems with bluetooth--voice driving instructions would cease after any calls, also had problems with people understanding you when talking using the bluetooth. We had hoped to work the bluetooth problem out with Garmin but we could not. Since my main reason for buying this was the safety factor of handsfree calling for my wife this made the made this a complete failure for us. If you want just awesome GPS with traffic alerts its perfect! The bluetooth is a JOKE!Customer Review: No more excuses...

I really like the traffic receiver and how it re-routes you when their is traffic.
It doesnt do that great in big cities like NYC, so that can be a little frustrating with it constantly re- routing you. And a pet peeve of mine is that it doesnt have that many variations in voices other than making your own. I found setup the setup to be accomodating, excpet when you have to find the favorite locations file (still have not found it).
Overall, this is a good purchase and it does its job well in 99% of my traveling experience.

This is my second Garmin, 3 years ago I paid over $400. the price now is incredible. This unit worked perfectly after installing the initial upgrade of maps and software which was huge. The traffic feature is awesome it steered me clear of a major traffic jam the first time I used it. At first I thought this thing didn't know the easiest way to go then I saw the traffic jam as I followed it's directions, totally cool!. The seller delivered as promised and the unit came in perfect condition, I would highly recommend this to everyone.Customer Review: Wonderful for vacation

We replaced our previous Garmin with this model because it has traffic updates and road closings, which we really needed to know about on our last trip. I love it for finding specific stores I want to shop at: just look up the addresses on the computer and put them into Garmin, and it takes you right there. A few times it didn't recognize the address, but otherwise its great. I do wish it had a feature that would allow you to delete an address when you no longer need it, instead of the "delete" erasing everything like it does.Customer Review: Garmin nuvi 265/265T

Bought this for my daughter. I have, and love, a TomTom with MANY features. Bought this because it was a fraction of what I paid for same features, and was smaller to enable pocket carrying.
Very happy. Spoke street names, etc. One does not have to look at the unit to follow directions - what more can you ask for?
I recommend highly.
My only issue is the "lifetime traffic" doesn't seem to work. Can't get it back from my daughter to futz with it though.
