Well, i belive this is a well made product, and will probably out last my GPS unit. It adds very little weight to the unit (about 1 ounce) and has a great belt attachment for easy movement (great for hikes). What I dont understand is the material. When wet it gains weight from the fabric soaqking it up from it getting caught inside the case. Reagardless, a nice product. Also check out Garmin.com.Customer Review: Nice case, worth the money

I have an eTrex, and it fits nice. The clip on the back is strong, and the case leaves the buttons free to use while still protecting it. The sides of the case are slightly padded, which probably protects it to some extent if it was dropped. I know this because I did, and I could hear that it was a padded "thump".
The window on the front could probably be a bit better, but really its fine.

The case has a plastic window over the GPS display. Unfortunately, it makes the GPS harder to read, especially if the light is not ideal. Also, the window is a little too small, and tends to cover the top of the screen. Since two of the main menus are at the top of the screen, this is a problem. Although I would like the protection provided by the case, I find I can't use it.Customer Review: Snug fit and shock absorbing.

I found no issues with this product. It fits the Garmin snug and perfect. It's also a good shock absorber in case it's dropped or falls. There is a ring on the back clip that lets you attach the hand strap to the case instead of the Garmin unit itself making it much easier to take the case off and put back on. The plastic screen cover allows good visability of the screen.Customer Review: Good carrier

The carrying case fits well, and the window is clear enough to allow easy viewing of the screen. The clip is very stout, allowing the unit to be carried on a belt or strap. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one, would be the way the case seals with the Velcro. I think it would be better to have the top fold over the back, not under, as it is designed currently.
