Once installed it works perfect. ALso self calibrates. I paired it with both 405 and 305 Garmin Forerunner: Which I couldn't figure out witht the included instructions. I googled and found some tips: Best is to hang the bike and rotate the pedals for 2-3 minutes (after pressing the reset button). Eventually it will pair and you're all set. Be careful when not riding to move the magnets away from the sensor (this will drain your battery). Now I turn off the GPS function on my watch and battery life is 5 times longer!

I would never recommend the speed/cadence sensor. I found this sensor to be of extremely poor design as it does not fit my bike at all. I had to create a makeshift inch block out of electrical tape and tape it to my pedals for the sensor to even reach the signal. Additionally the sensor itself is so sensitive that even the slightest touch will completely turn off the sensor. I am extremely disappointed as I bought the watch/sensor combination specifically so that I could have all of my readings on one computer screen and have essentially wasted money.Customer Review: If you are serious about becoming a better rider get this!!

I never thought I needed this piece of tech till I got it. WOW! Combined with the Forerunner 305, you can really track your performance and pedaling efficiency like never before. It works like it's supposed to, and the best part - when you're indoors on the trainer, you'll know exactly how many miles you've done! It has made training a lot more fun, and when you're training hard, you need all the help you can get! Installation was easy, setup was automatic. Pony up the extra few bucks for this unit, you won't regret it! Highly recommended.Customer Review: Excellent Product

I really like this product. I like not having wires drapped around the bike. The tradeoff is that it requires a battery.
I am using it with the Edge 705. I really like the data that is provided by the device. The speed / Cadence sensor is great when the bike is on the trainer as it is located on the back wheel.
I am totally satisified with the device. I purchased it on Amazon. I am happy with the price that I paid compared to other sites. It showed up when promised. And worked as advertised right out of the box.

This is a great product, just had it for two weeks and I am very pleased with it. Now I can know all the needed information when I train indoors with a trainer or roller, and also I can record it all and upload it to my computer. The speed and cadence sensor is very useful for every cyclist.
Very easy and fast installation, The very first time I used it was on a long race in a very rainy day. It worked great.
I even got two of these sensors, so I can ride my two bikes with the same Garmin Edge 500. Great products.
