I use this on my Mountain Bike. I maily ride XC but it can get very technical here in New England. This mount has held the Forerunner in great and doesnt get in my way at all. The included wrist strap with this kit hold the Forerunner on my big wrists much better. I think they should have included this kit with the Forerunner from the get go and ditched those crappy watch bands it came with.
If your looking for an easy way to mount the Forerunner on the bike and then back to a 'watch' mode for running, this kit is PERFECT.

Five Stars are well earned for a well designed product. The delivery was easily within two days. The wrist strap is much better than the original plastic strap that came with my Forerunner 305. The strap removal tool makes the removal of the original strap a breeze. (It can also be used for any other watch band removals) The Forerunner 305 is then easily installed and removed from the quick release wrist strap. The Bike Strap is even easier and requires no tools. Works great and is very secure on the bike. Instructions included were perfect and accurate.Customer Review: Awesome!

It works exactly as its supposed to. Great for the bike and transitions in a tri. I highly recommend getting this even if you don't need the bike mount - the velcro wrist strap is much more comfortable than the stock one and infinitely adjustable. Also, it has reflective touches (good for night running) that the stock one doesn't. The only hitch is that it's a little tough to get the unit out of the mount in a hurry, its in there tight, but at least you know it won't fall out even in the roughest conditions either running or biking. I ordered this product with the FR305 and the speed cadence sensor : it is just simply working fine. I gave only 4 stars because the strap is too short to wrap around a ski/snowboard suit. So I dismounted the whole thing, and sewed the clip to a longer strap I had kept from an old backpack. The result is not looking professional made, but it works, and now I know my snowboard speed is around 55 km/h in the first tests (after Sport tracks corrections : 62 became 55!)
Then I ordered another one so I shall have one long and one short!

This is an excellent product. The bike mount has worked great and I use the Velco wrist strap all of the time. I have no need for the strap that came with the watch. My forerunner 305 fits very snuggly into both the bike mount and wrist strap. It does take some effort to snap out, but this should become easier with more use. I have not had a chance to use during a triathlon yet, but I have no doubt it will lead to a quick transition from bike to run. It is unfortunate Garmin did not design the 405 coming out soon with these same capabilities.
