This is the best product I have seen for the money. I travel around the country for work and I always bring the Street Pilot with me. When I drive to other states, it never fails to get me where I need to go. When I fly I carry it with me and put it in the rental car to get me to my hotel and meeting place. I use it to find restaurants, gas, etc. I have never had a problem. I already have a blue tooth device and my mp3 player plays through my car stereo so I didn't need to spend more for those features. It comes with a small memory card so I replaced it with a 1G. Now I have the entire US and Canada stored. The controls (touchscreen an absolute must) are logical and easy to use. I can't imagine traveling without it.Customer Review: Works exremely well

I am very pleased with this product. I think the newer models of this tripod have the abiliy to have a removable cigratte power adapter cord, like mine. This is great, for those times when you don't need to plug in the power adapter because your GPS has enough battery power. There were some complaints/reviews that griped of the inability to remove the power cord. If that had been the case with mine, then I would have ranked it 4 stars. Garmin, thank you for listening to your customers. Only gripe: cost. It should be included w/the Garmin purchase, instead of the abysmal windshield suction mount.
This product works flawlessly and does not move (despite my driving :-) in our Toyota Camry or 4Runner.

We have had this mount for a few months now and it has been great.
The suction mount didn't work on our prius dashboard and we had to always mount it on the window which can present it's own set of difficulties.
The dash mount has very little movement, stays put while driving and is easy to reach especially if you are under 6 feet tall! It is easy to store for our cars. It may present some difficulty if you have a smaller box to hide your items from potential thieves. On the upside, no more tell tale portable nav rings on your window. It does fit easily under your seat for hiding if needed.
No directions needed for setup,just put it in the cradle and you are off and driving. I love it!

I found out the hard way that the factory-included suction mount isn't very dependable, unless you find the perfect place on the windshield to stick it to. After mounting it onto the windshield and giving it a slight tug, it seemed like it had a pretty solid grip. However, midway through the drive while I was turning, the suction mount along with the C340 just fell off. I understand that the system is pretty heavy, but I don't like expensive technology falling to the ground at random times, so I ended up paying extra for this dashboard mount. Works great. I wish there was an option for including this in the original package, but business is business and Garmin wants my $$$, so I'll have to pay extra.Customer Review: Garmin Dash Mount only does half the job.

Ordered the mount for the StreetPilot c330. Item arrived quickly from Amazon in the original bubble pack.
The mount fit the c330 perfectly. It sits on the dashboard and doesn't move at all. Exactly what it is supposed to do. The only thing it didn't do is power the c330. The power connection from the DC cord to the c330 is defective. No power came through the mount. When checked with a multimeter, there was no power coming through the contacts to the c330. To make the unit work, I had to change the swivel part of the mount to the same piece from another Garmin windshield mount. Now it works perfectly. Why didn't I send it back? Easier to fix, than return. Garmin, I need another mount. Thanks.
