I bought this for my GPS III+. It works great in my Jeep Wrangler because the dash has a small holder in the middle. On road (less bumpy) trips I wedge it between the dash and the windshield. That works really well because the windshield is up close.Our other vehicle is a Grand Cherokee. The dash is so big that the bean bag mount can't lean up to anything close enough to read clearly.
I know the bag was designed for the StreetPilot, but it works good for the III+ too. It's cheaper and more versatile than the plastic mount. It also has a good sticky rubber base that hasn't slid yet.
