This is a good case it you do not need to connect it to your computer or car all the time. There are not openings in the back for your external commections. I am constantly loading Geocaches into mine so everytime I have to take the case all the way off to connect it. I also have to take it off to plug it into my car, and at night this is helpfull do to the back light staying on when it is externaly powered. I would not recomend this if you use your external ports. However if you do not I realy like the look and feel of this case, just wish they would have left port holes.Customer Review: Really good idea

I had a etrex vista before the GPSMAP 60C, I had it on the handle bars of my bicycle and riding about 25mph when suddenly it fell off and swung by the wrist strap right in to the fork and got wedged between the tire and the steel. It made a bunch of grinding noise and stopped me pretty quick. Needless to say the case was completely destroyed, the fabric was torn and the tire melted the plastic in front of the unit's screen. When I took out the unit there was not even a scratch. This case is little less accessible but in my opinion, completely worth it.Customer Review: Great case for the 60csx

I bought this case for my Garmin 60csx with the primary intention of keeping it protected. It does that very well. Nice snug fit, feels really good in your hand. Of course, the 4-way rocker button in the center is going to feel a little different in use because you're moving it through a piece of clear plastic, but if that's the "price" I have to pay to protect my expensive unit, so be it. Build quality is absolutely first rate. I am very happy with this case and have no reservations in recommending it to any Garmin 60 owner.Customer Review: It works

Build quality is ok, similar in appearance and materials to what I have for my etrex legend. The plastic over the buttons is a little annoying, would have rather seen a cut out design around them. Where the etrex case comes with a belt clip built into the case, the 60Cx already comes with one built into the unit (it's removeable), so the case just has a cut out to allow it to work. Like other reviewers have said though, if you are already spending this much on the GPS unit, spend the $20 and protect it with the case.Customer Review: Peace of mind for the 60CSx

The case gives me peace of mind about throwing the 60CSx into the pack or leaving it on the floor of the car. As others have noted, yes, the buttons are a little tougher to press with the clear plastic screen, but this doesn't bother me, and I'd rather not risk damage to this expensive device should I drop it! I don't believe the plastic will protect the screen if dropped directly onto a rock or something from, say, waist height, but for your everyday scuffs/scratches, it's fine.
